Vettel: "Lewis was the better driver"

Sebastian Vettel states why Lewis Hamilton was so much quicker in the second half of the season.

When speaking to Swiss newspaper, Blick, about the season Vettel said, "Only one can win. Unfortunately, we had our mistakes, whether it was mine or the team that I would not like to separate.

It is widely agreed that Ferrari's struggles in the latter end of the season were caused by modifications to the car over the summer break.

"Simply stated: we were at the limit and then, of course, you try to squeeze out even more somewhere," Vettel said.

Ferrari has announced the date for their 2019 car and will hope that it will be quicker than this years.
