De Zondag, Max Verstappen talks a bit about the things he doesn't like that come with the fame, and the things he tries to avoid.
You're constantly travelling, talking to the press, training or driving. There's a lot going on in the life of a Formula One driver. Max Verstappen argues that that's exactly why he has to be protected a bit.
"A trip to Amsterdam isn't very nice for me because you get harassed constantly," the Dutchman explained.
"You have to learn to deal with that and accept that that's part of it.
"These little things, of course, don't weigh up to all of the perks that the F1 brings."
Still, there are certain things you don't want to deal with when you're as famous as Verstappen is, particularly in his home country of the Netherlands.
"Strangers will offer products about you, or sell tickets under your name.
"It's tough to trust people in this world, but I've gotten used to that pretty quickly.
"The people I do trust are the ones around me."
