Max Verstappen was satisfied after winning on his GT3 race debut at the Nordschleife.
Of course, we really want to race the 24-hour race, here at the Nordschleife. If that’s going to be next year, I don’t know yet."

After qualifying in third place, the four-time Formula 1 world champion took the lead into Turn 1, and did not look back after.
“It was great! During my first two stints, the car was amazing. After qualifying, I knew the car would be good on a dry track. Everything went well in terms of traffic, and we didn’t make any big mistakes. To win my debut race here is amazing," the Dutchman began after the race.
Verstappen drove the first two hours, handing over the Ferrari 296 GT3 to Chris Lulham for the second half of the race. The Dutchman also set the fastest lap on Saturday afternoon.

Verstappen wants to compete more at the Nordschleife

The Dutchman returned to the 'Green Hell' two weeks after obtaining the DMSB Permit Nordschleife. Verstappen would love to compete more at the Nordschleife in the future, he explained.
“Of course, we really want to race the 24-hour race, here at the Nordschleife. If that’s going to be next year, I don’t know yet.
"Of course we need more experience, so hopefully we can enter a few more NLS races next year,” the four-time world champion explained.
On paper, Verstappen would be able to drive at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring next year based on the F1 calendar. The event in Germany will take place in between the Miami and Canadian Grands Prix in 2026.
