Max Verstappen is hoping to extend his winning streak at the United States Grand Prix after securing consecutive victories with Red Bull's own power unit. The Dutchman arrives in Austin following his victory in Singapore, where he added another win to his 2026 campaign.
The four-time world champion is particularly pleased with Red Bull's recent results, having won two consecutive Grands Prix and a Sprint race. However, he expects a different challenge at the Circuit of the Americas, where the circuit's characteristics will require the team to find the right set-up from the start of the weekend.

Verstappen aims to maintain Red Bull's winning momentum

Looking ahead to the United States Grand Prix, Verstappen reflected on his Singapore victory and the progress Red Bull has made with its own power unit.
"To finally win in Singapore was a special moment and to get two race wins (and a Sprint race) in a row with our own power unit is something to be celebrated and for the Team to be proud of."

The Dutchman also discussed the challenges of racing at the Circuit of the Americas, which features a combination of long corners, elevation changes and an uneven surface.
"This track is very different to drive but is always quite enjoyable despite it being quite bumpy. It has its long corners and elevation changes, so we need to make sure we hit the ground running with the set-up of the car."

Verstappen has enjoyed considerable success at the American circuit in previous seasons, but his immediate priority is to continue Red Bull's recent run of results. With another triple-header approaching, he stressed the importance of making the most of every opportunity.
"Austin is always a fun weekend and there is a lot to do in the city. We are going again into another triple header and our focus is on continuing this momentum, maximising our opportunities and getting as many points for the Constructors’ championship as we can."

Verstappen and Red Bull embrace American theme for Austin

Away from the track, Verstappen and Red Bull will also have a different look for the United States Grand Prix. The team has unveiled special white race suits for Verstappen and Isack Hadjar, featuring a Ford Raptor-inspired design to mark the American round of the championship.
Verstappen will also wear a special helmet featuring his familiar lion logo with a cowboy hat, while Red Bull has introduced a matching collection of team clothing and merchandise inspired by Texas. The garage will also feature Ford Raptor branding throughout the weekend.
