Max Verstappen is spending time with his family ahead of the United States Grand Prix. The Dutchman did a Halloween-themed activity with Kelly Piquet and Penelope.
Halloween is next week, but events and special fairs are already in full swing. After completing a Formula 1 triple-header and racing at the Portimão circuit in the final round of the GT World Challenge Europe series, Verstappen took some time off and visited a fun fair with his partner, Kelly Piquet, and her daughter, Penelope. Piquet shared images from their ‘date night’ on Instagram.

The Dutchman is on a two-race winning streak, having crossed the finish line in first place at the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia and at the Singapore Grand Prix as well. He is currently fourth in the drivers' standings, 119 points behind Kimi Antonelli, but only 17 points behind second-placed George Russell.
This made Verstappen more nervous in Portugal 'than driving myself in F1'
Reviewing last weekend, Verstappen said he had a good time at Portimao in his team's Twitch stream.
The Dutchman said: "I had a good time, mate. Yeah, it was really fun the whole weekend. Just had a good time, you know, trying to to get back up to speed because, of course, the last time that I drove it was at the Nordschleife, which, of course, is different tires, completely different ride heights. It's quite different, to be honest."
He continued: "Yeah, I have to say the first lap when I went out was a little bit of a shock to the system. But then I really enjoyed it. Of course qualifying didn't really go to plan, let's say like that. But that meant of course that we had to yeah, fight our way forward a little bit in the race."

"But it was exciting. I mean, I'm always like more nervous watching the GT race than I am myself in a race car in F1. So I guess that says enough. For example, the start, it's quite nerve wracking to be honest, just sitting, watching, standing there," he explained.
