Verstappen 'has no grip' as Norris sails by

A filmmaker with a soft spot for Ronnie Peterson, Gilles Villeneuve, Mika Hakkinen and above all, Tazio Nuvolari and Ayrton Senna, is also a diehard Formula One fan since the age of 4 (mid-90's). Max Verstappen was complaining of a lack of grip, 'compared to the McLarens that is', when Lando Norris popped up on his mirrors and overtook him the following lap.

On alp 12, as Norris started to hunt down Verstappen, the Dutchman said to race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase that he had no grip 'compared to the McLarens.'

As he did that, Norris closed up after Turn 9 in the backstraight under DRS. Then after the last sector, the overtake was on, there was nothing Verstappen could do, and surprisingly, the Dutchman didn't even try to position the car differently. Says a lot of where Verstappen thinks things are?
