Max Verstappen has often complained about problems with the brakes of his Red Bull Racing car this year. Now, even off the track, he has brake pedal issues. This time, it was at home with his simulator, but for a very different reason.
The Dutchman couldn't use his brake pedal because his dog and cat, Nino and Donatello, were playing right by the sim, not allowing him to touch the brake pedal.

Verstappen also has brake problems at home

Back home in Monaco after the Miami Grand Prix, Verstappen appeared in a livestream on Twitch on his own Team Redline channel. As is usually the case with the livestreams, there were plenty of funny moments throughout.
One clear moment takes place in the video below, with the four-time world champion mentioning that he can't brake because Nino and Donatello are playing right next to his simulator, not allowing him to get to the brake pedal.
"Why is there a dog and a cat in my rig?" Verstappen asked aloud while trying to continue driving. "They're literally playing by my brake pedal. Hey! Hello! I can't use my brake pedal! I can't brake!" he says, followed by laughter from his teammates.
Verstappen's pets have often been seen during livestreams. Besides Nino and Donatello (the latter two additions to the household), cats Jimmy and Sassy have also made appearances. Penelope, the daughter of Verstappen's girlfriend Kelly Piquet, is often seen during her stepfather's livestreams. The household has recently added its newest member with baby Lily, the daughter of Verstappen and Piquet.
