During the race weekend in Imola, where the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix will be held, Red Bull Racing are set to introduce an upgrade package.
These updates should help Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda close the gap to the
McLaren team. Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris currently have
the fastest car, but the Austrian formation hopes to catch up. Verstappen addressed questions about the updates in Imola while in Miami. “We'll see. I don't know at the moment," the reigning world champion responded to GPblog's question on whether Red Bull is confident in
the updates working in Italy. “Imola last year was one of the big problem tracks for the team in the past, as they had different curbs. Here, the curbing has not been a massive problem, but then again, Imola is a lot faster, but let's see if with the setup that we have currently on the car, if that actually improves the ride a bit. A bit too early to tell.” Verstappen explained.
Which races is Verstappen looking forward to on the Formula 1 calendar concerning the RB21?
GPblog asked Verstappen which races he looks forward to concerning the Red Bull car. "I'm looking forward to some tracks that I enjoy driving. With the gap that they have, realistically, you don't really have a big chance, but maybe on tracks where you can't pass, you do have a chance. We'll see what happens,” the Red Bull Racing driver responded.
During the qualifying, Verstappen managed to take pole and
be faster than the McLarens. He was asked why this was. “In general, pure performance of the car, but also the management they have on their tyres, is incredible."
