Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc has admitted that he has had to "change his driving style quite a lot" to find as much pace as possible in his Ferrari.
It has been a hugely disappointing start for the Scuderia in 2025, with the SF-25 unable to fight McLaren, Mercedes and Red Bull at the front of the grid, such are the issues with the car.
As a result, Leclerc has only taken one podium in the first six races of the season at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, collecting just 53 points to start the season and sit P5 in the championship.
Teammate Lewis Hamilton has struggled even more since moving to the Italian team from Mercedes for the 2025 season, sitting in P7 on 41 points behind Kimi Antonelli. As a result, Ferrari sits P4 in the constructors' standings on 94 points, 152 points away from McLaren at the top of the standings.

Leclerc having to make changes due to S-25 difficulties

There have been comments made by Hamilton about the SF-25 and how he is faring with his new car after moving teams. But it is not just the seven-time worls champion that is having usses with the car.
"On my side, this year, we've gone in quite extreme directions in terms of setup in order to extract a bit more out of the car," explained Leclerc to several media sources, including GPblog.
"As a result, I feel like I'm changing quite a lot of my driving style in order to fit the new requirements from this car," continued the Monegasque.
These changes that the 27-year-old has been going through to try and maximise the machine he is driving are something that he has never had to try and do since moving to the Scuderia.
"It's been seven years that I've been with Ferrari, so there are most likely things that are also very natural to me now after so many years with the team that I don't realise enough, even though I feel like I've been driving quite differently this year, just because this car requires a different setup and a different way of driving," Leclerc concluded.
