After winning the Miami Grand Prix, Oscar Piastri has made a huge step forward in the championship battle.
Max Verstappen started from pole at the Miami International Autodrome. Norris was quick to battle his rival on lap one, but the Englishman left the track in the battle with Verstappen, which made him pay the price. After his trip off the circuit, he ended up in sixth place.
Piastri overtook Verstappen in the early stages of the race. A few laps later, Lando Norris also overtook the Dutchman after passing both Mercedes cars and the Williams of Alex Albon.
