Red Bull's Max Verstappen has explained that the Belgian Grand Prix feels like a home race for him, as tens of thousands of Dutch fans travel with him to their neighbouring country to support him.
Verstappen, who has been in a better spell of form after a dramatic start of the season, will be eager to get the crowd on their feet at Spa Francorchamps this year. Last year, things were looking good for Verstappen, until his car gave up on him for the umpteenth time of the season, leading to him parking his car right in front of a stand full of orange-dressed fans.
Still, despite the massive disappointment from last season, Spa Francorchamps will always have a special place in the heart of Verstappen.
"Running at Spa is always special," the 20-year-old told FormulaPassion.
"I was born only an hour away from the track so it's practically a home race for me.

"You can see from the orange crowd and the many campers as the track is stormed by the Dutch."
Describing the track, the Dutchman is obviously very taken by the legendary track.
"The track is located in the forest, which makes it different to drive than other circuits.
"Eau Rouge is obviously special but my favourite part is Pouhon, and the fast left corners are really nice.
"The victory in Austria was amazing as it was the home race of Red Bull and there was a massive Dutch influx.

"Winning in Spa would be similar, with the orange flags everywhere, we hope to make the fans smile this year."
