The Monaco Grand Prix has confirmed to have been cancelled rather than postponed, as was earlier reported, with the principality going into lockdown following Prince Albert's positive test for the coronavirus.
The Automobile Club de Monaco confirmed it's not possible for the event to be held later in the year, meaning we will have to wait until 2021 to once again see Formula 1 cars zooming through the narrow streets at the Circuit de Monaco.
The Monaco Grand Prix is the most famous and prestigious venue on the F1 calendar, and its absence in a season will be the first time since 1954, 66 years ago.
