This is the 'GPblog Driver of the Day' from the Azerbaijan Grand Prix!

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix had a surprising podium with Sergio Pérez, Sebastian Vettel and Pierre Gasly. Where the Mexican still has an excellent car, the other two drivers normally drive in the middle of the pack. The three men are therefore back in the top 4 of Driver of the Day.

Sebastian Vettel received by far the most votes with 47% because of his good performance in Baku. The German drove himself to the front and showed why he has four world titles to his name. He was unable to get past his former team Red Bull Racing, but with a second place in Azerbaijan, he and Aston Martin were very satisfied.

Max Verstappen crashed out but is still in second place. The Dutchman could not do anything about the blowout he suffered and therefore had to deal with the disappointment visibly afterwards. Right behind Verstappen comes race winner Sergio Pérez who brought Red Bull's weekend to a successful conclusion after all. Gasly occupies the fourth place with two percent.
