It is only a matter of time before the arrival of Sergio Perez is announced by Red Bull Racing. Speedweek and De Telegraaf strongly report it is a done deal, so everyone is eagerly awaiting news.
Alex Albon's time as a Red Bull driver looks set to come to an end, with Sergio Perez lined up to take the role, alongside Max Verstappen. However, we are still awaiting official confirmation.
People are anxiously awaiting what Red Bull has to say
After the announcement of De Telegraaf and Speedweek on Thursday evening, according to the first reports it seemed to be an announcement at 09:00 am UK time However, that announcement was not made and so Social Media is in an uproar. Could it be because of the new driver's Mexican nationality?
In Mexico it is currently still the middle of the night. It, therefore, makes sense for Red Bull to make the announcement when the Mexican audience are awake.
