Everyone has naturally formed their own opinions about the sprint weekends, but Lance Stroll is adding to them. He did so to GPblog and others. In Baku on Saturday, the Canadian finished ninth in the sprint shootout and eighth in the sprint itself.
The 24-year-old driver, who holds the sixth spot in the championship, comes up with a striking suggestion. He would prefer not to see sprint races at all. "In an ideal world, I think two-day weekends would be nice. Like, FP1, quali and then the race." Stroll said.

Stroll with overtaking

Stroll managed to sneak in one more point in the sprint race in the nick of time. The driver popped up on the inside of Alexander Albon five laps before the end and took over his position. Stroll reflects on this overtake.
"We had a tricky start to the race, lost the position to Lando Norris, and then got him back at the restart. Then managed to get Albon after following him for a couple of laps, which felt like a hard-earned point." said the Canadian.
