Sebastian Vettel admits: "We were less competitive than we expected"

Sebastian Vettel has admitted he expected his Ferrari to be more competitive in Australia last weekend. So far this weekend in Bahrain, Ferrari have topped the timesheets as they look to bounce back.
"Mercedes were more competitive than we [Ferrari] expected and we were less competitive than we expected so that explains the bigger time difference," Vettel said in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
His younger teammate, Charles Leclerc managed to push Vettel in Melbourne and could have overtaken him was it not for team orders. The man from Monaco admits he will continue to push his German teammate.
"He's a four-time world champion and a good benchmark for me. I will push him as much as possible and I'll be in front of him as much as possible, and then we'll see what happens," Leclerc said.
