Max Verstappen's weekend in Portugal continues with FP2 at the Portimao track. The second session starts at 12:45 (GMT). You can watch the session live here!
Verstappen returns to action during FP2 together with Chris Lulham and Ben Barnicoat at the Portuguese circuit. During the first session, Verstappen Racing finished outside of the Top 10. Out of the 42 laps the three drivers completed, the fastest one was a 1:43.046 that was good enough for P20.
Verstappen was also investigated by the stewards for causing a collision with Car 25 at Turn 3. The Dutchman was found to be at fault and was handed a reprimand and one so-called 'behaviour warning point'. This will not affect the four-time F1 world champion or his team in qualifying or tomorrow's endurance race.

Verstappen shares Kelly Piquet's thoughts on adding GT race after F1 tripleheader

After completing a Formula 1 triple-header, Verstappen is spending this week racing at Portimão. In Singapore, he was asked what his partner, Kelly Piquet, thought about him adding another race to his already busy schedule.
The Red Bull Racing driver told GPblog, among others: "I think it helps that she comes out of a family that races a lot, you know, so I think she can understand a lot better. You always try to also combine stuff, so even if, let's say, you will be racing, maybe you can combine it with going around with the family a little bit, even in a race weekend like that, so we're trying to see what we can do there.

"But at the same time, also, she knows that I need to feel good and just be happy also, from both sides. So, we just try to always find compromises from my side, from her side, and try to spend as much time together. She doesn't mind it, I think she likes racing. It's not that she's against it, so that helps."
