After two free practice sessions, it is time for qualifying at the Portimao circuit in the GT World Challenge Europe series. The session begins at 17:55 GMT. Watch it live here!
After the Formula 1 triple-header, Verstappen remains busy. This weekend, the Dutchman is competing in the GT World Challenge Europe series with his own team, alongside Chris Lulham and Ben Barnicoat.
During the first free practice session, Verstappen Racing set the 20th-fastest time. In FP2, the #3 Mercedes-AMG car climbed up the rankings, with Lulham setting the fourth-fastest time of the session. He was also the second-fastest among the Mercedes-AMG GT3 cars.
Verstappen was also investigated by the stewards for causing a collision with Car 25 at Turn 3. The Dutchman was found to be at fault and was handed a reprimand and one so-called 'behaviour warning point'. This will not affect the four-time F1 world champion or his team in qualifying or tomorrow's endurance race.

How does qualifying work?

A car's final position on the grid will be determined by all three drivers' performances today. This means that the average of Verstappen's, Lulham's and Barnicoat's best lap times will determine where their car lines up on the grid on Saturday.
The #3 Mercedes-AMG car will compete in Group B in Q1, Q2 and Q3, with a different driver taking part in each session. No cars will be eliminated after Q1 or Q2.
