RUMOUR: Buemi set for surprise return to Toro Rosso

Toro Rosso have fuelled rumours about a shock return to the team for Sebastian Buemi...

The official Toro Rosso Twitter account tweeted a photo of Buemi undergoing a seat-fitting in their car.

Whilst this is quite common for reserve drivers to do this for their team, it tends to take place prior to the season starting.

And if it's not for Buemi to drive for the side next season, then the other explanation could be that his weight/height has drastically changed recently.

The timing sparks rumours as well, with it being 'silly season' and drivers moving all over the grid.

Pierre Gasly is off to Red Bull, whilst Brendon Hartley's far from convincing form this season means his seat at the team is under serious threat.

Stoffel Vandoorne has been linked with a move to the Red Bull junior side, following McLaren getting rid of the Belgian driver and replacing him with junior driver Lando Norris - who was also a target for Toro Rosso.

Daniil Kvyat is also on the list for Toro Rosso, who have very limited options due to the action that has already taken place.
