Romain Grosjean will remain a Haas driver for another year and will start his fifth season for the team in 2020. In a video by Haas, the Frenchman is asked about his feelings on the new deal.
"It is very good to make this known," Grosjean said. "We started this adventure four years ago and racing has of course gone up and down in terms of performance.
"However, the relationship with the team is very good and our goal is to reach a higher level again. In 2020 we would like to return to the level that we managed to reach in 2018.
"I'm happy to stay in Formula 1 and continue working at Haas. We have started an adventure and that story is not yet complete. Consistency is also important for the team because Kevin and I know each other well and get along well. Together we can be important for the team to deliver even better performance."
