Ricciardo is an F1 driver again: These are the images!

Daniel Ricciardo has completed his first laps in a Formula 1 car since his accident at Zandvoort during the Dutch Grand Prix. Having recovered from a fracture in his hand, the Australian gave a demonstration in downtown Nashville. Ricciardo did so in the US city in a car belonging to Red Bull Racing rather than AlphaTauri. He will race for AlphaTauri at this weekend's United States Grand Prix.

Tens of thousands of people had turned out for the Red Bull team's demo run. Ricciardo had great fun and treated the fans to a few donuts, among other things. Of course, the conditions are not the same as a Grand Prix, but Ricciardo certainly did not give the impression that he was troubled by his hands.

Ricciardo himself already announced he will be back in Austin. He will relieve Liam Lawson, who replaced him for five Grands Prix. There has been no official word yet from AlphaTauri about the Australian's comeback.
