Results FP3: Bottas fastest, but Verstappen and Hamilton are very close.

The third free practice of the race weekend at Mugello has just ended. During this session Valtteri Bottas of Mercedes was the fastest, but Max Verstappen of Red Bull followed soon after. Lewis Hamilton was also very close.

So Bottas was the fastest. He set a track record with his 1:16.530. But only 0.017 of a second behind was the Red Bull of Max Verstappen. The whole top three were very close together, Hamilton followed them by less than a tenth. So it will be a very exciting qualifying session this afternoon.

Both Racing Points were also very fast. Stroll finished P4 and Perez P6. Last week's GP winner Pierre Gasly drove his Alpha Tauri to a great fifth place. Charles Leclerc was also very fast, by Ferrari standards. He set the seventh fastest time. Albon finished in P8, Kvyat ninth and Grosjean an excellent tenth
