Red Bull teases fans about major announcement for Japanese GP: "Ready for race week?"

The race weekend in Japan is a special one for Red Bull Racing. Not only is it Yuki Tsunoda's home race, Max Verstappen's new teammate, but the same is true for Red Bull's engine supplier, Honda. The Japanese manufacturer will be homaged this weekend by the Austrian team with a unique livery, as confirmed by sources to GPblog.

Many fans hope that Red Bull's livery will resemble the car the team was originally going to race with in 2020, when the Japanese Grand Prix had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through a post on social media, Red Bull hints at something very special to come. The photo shows an edited image of the RB21, with the text "RB21 JPN spec", which seems to point to a special livery.
