Mercedes is the only frontrunner team that did not bring a change to its car ahead of the 2026 British Grand Prix. Ferrari, Red Bull Racing and McLaren did deliver some for the weekend at Silverstone. McLaren brought multiple performance-based changes to improve flow conditioning. The Woking-based team has a new front brake duct and a revised floor board and furniture.
Red Bull Racing and Ferrari each brought one update for Silverstone. Red Bull's change targets local load with new rear wheel bodywork winglets. Ferrari also aims to improve local load and cooling, having introduced increased cooling inlet and outlet sections, an updated lower deflector, and a re-optimized rearward winglet cluster for Lewis Hamilton's home Grand Prix.
In the midfield battle, Williams, Racing Bulls, and Haas brought changes for the upcoming weekend. The Grove-based team of Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz is set to introduce a new front wing geometry with updated profiles and endplate surfaces, while Racing Bulls brought an updated floor corner and diffuser geometry, along with new forward deflector geometry.
Haas
F1 also brought two changes, concerning local load and flow conditioning. That includes new rear wing profiles, and a rear wing endplate with external protrusions. See the complete list below!

Russell warns rivals could "pay the price" as he reveals Mercedes upgrade plans
George Russell has revealed that Mercedes won't see any major upgrades before the summer break as he issued a warning to F1 rivals.
The Briton said: "The car has been extremely consistent every single race so far. We have been surprised at how many upgrades some teams are bringing, but maybe they'll pay the price towards the end of the season. And, you know, we know when we're planning our upgrades, it's not this side of the break. And then we can just review during the summer break if you pull the trigger slightly early on those upgrades or not. So it's just a balancing act, but as Toto said, we have been a bit surprised with how many that some other teams have brought."
