Spa-Francorchamps is well-known by F1 fans for its wet weather Grands Prix in the past. Will the notorious case of 2021 be repeated? See the weather report below!
At the Belgian Grand Prix, the weather often plays a role. For example in 2021, on Sunday, drivers only did a couple of laps behind the Safety Car so points could be handed out.
Drivers and teams can get a taste of that as the weekend begins on the media day. This upcoming Thursday, according to the FOM's system, it will 18 degrees Celsius with high chance of rain, which could be potentially heavy at times with a chance of thunderstorms.
On Friday, it will be both 20 degrees Celsius during FP1 and Sprint Qualifying. Light rain is expected for the morning, and even as the sky will turn brighter, light-to-moderate showers could be expected during the afternoon.
The weekend begins with the Sprint on Saturday, where it is expected to be 20 degrees Celsius once again. That elevates by two degrees for qualifying. A cloudy weather is predicted, but once again, there is a slight chance of passing showers.

Will rain arrive once again on Sunday?

Leading up to this year's British Grand Prix, some expected that by the time the lights go out, it will dry up in Silverstone. That was not the case in the end.
Once again, a mix of sunny and cloudy day is predicted for this upcoming Sunday, with 20 degrees Celsius. Together with that, there is a slight chance of showers in the afternoon, which could make it tricky for the drivers.
Last year in dry conditions, the Mercedes cars did well and claimed a provisional one-two at Spa-Francorchamps. However, George Russell got disqualified for his car being underweight, handing the victory to Lewis Hamilton.
