Kimi Raikkonen confirms he is still astonished over Nico Rosberg's shock retirement almost two years on. The Finn doesn't understand why the 2016 champion retired and then returned as a pundit.
Raikkonen's book, titled 'The Unknown Kimi Raikkonen' hit the shelves this week. He said that when he finally retires from F1, he confirms he won't be staying around the paddock.
The Ferrari driver looks likely to be given another year at the team. Though he still remains without a contract.
"No, it will not be hard to stop this job," Kimi said at his book launch.
"I will be relieved when all of the things not involving driving will end. The driving is great but nothing else."

He then got asked if he would ever become a pundit. In a similar way to how Nico Rosberg is working for Sky Sports throughout this season.
"When he [Rosberg] explained why [he retired], I thought it was cool and I understood. Now he's standing there with a microphone. I cannot understand, why, given the reasons he gave for wanting to leave," Raikkonen added.
It'll be a shame not to see The Iceman around. But then again...imagine his questions and thoughts as a pundit...!!!
