It already seemed a certainty, but it has now been officially confirmed that Sergio Perez will be driving alongside Max Verstappen at Red Bull Racing next year. Responses are now pouring in: So is that of Racing Point.
It threatened to be the end of his career when Perez was told he had to make way for Sebastian Vettel, despite the fact that he had a contract in his pocket.
However, more and more reports suggested that Red Bull Racing was interested, and this was only reinforced by Perez's recent victory.

Congratulations from Racing Point to Red Bull Racing

His current Racing Point team has also congratulated Red Bull Racing and Sergio Perez on their new partnership: "You're getting one hell of a driver there guys. Huge congrats to you both" says the team's Twitter message.
