Christmas Day in F1: Here is how Verstappen and co. celebrated

Over Christmas, F1 drivers and personnel finally have the chance to switch off from racing and enjoy the holidays. Here is what the drivers themselves have been up to these recent days!

Max Verstappen celebrated Christmas with Kelly Piquet, his partner. Piquet's daughter, Penelope was also there with them, among others. The Dutchman posted a lovely picture of the couple who are expecting their first child together next year.

Liam Lawson is enjoying the off-season in New Zealand, before he becomes Max Verstappen's teammate at Red Bull Racing this upcoming season. In his Christmas post, he can be seen with his new niece, Poppy.

The 2025 season will soon get underway, but now, it is time to relax for the drivers. After all, 2024 was the longest season in the competition's history, lasting 24 weekends.
