Yuki Tsunoda did not have a great race weekend in Barcelona. Furthermore, his season with Red Bull Racing has been subpar. Ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix, he shared with GPBlog and others where he can improve before the next race.

Tsunoda sees the team as the main struggle

Tusnoda was not the only one to struggle at the Spanish Grand Prix. In fact, due to a race penalty, he placed three spots behind teammate Max Verstappen. Verstappen placed 10th with Tsunoda in 13th.
After being asked if the Canada circuit will suit him and the car, Tsunoda reflected on the 2024 Canadian Grand Prix.
He said, "Myself, it was alright. I'm not sure I scored points there. Last year, I was probably running within the points, and I had a spicy memory in the last few laps. But that's alright. At least I quite like it."
He then explained what he was going to do to improve between now and then: sim work.
"It's something I'm going to try. I'm quite excited for it. That will hopefully make something different."

However, Tsunoda admits, it;s not just him that needs to put in the work.
"The simulator itself is more towards the team, to try something that we want to try on the track. There's such a limited time, we can't obviously try every setup so the things that we want to explore around."
"With that being said, maybe my engineer can find something, find a good trend or good characteristics to improve my driving style. But in my perspective, it's more towards the team and the engineers."
