During
Max Verstappen's off-week, he took his brand-new private jet to the Netherlands, where he is originally from. While the exact reason he is visiting his homeland has not been confirmed, there is a logical thought behind it.
On Sunday, June 8th, Verstappen's jet took off from Nice, France, and landed in Limburg, Netherlands, roughly one hour later. The area where he landed may indicate why he is there.
Family visit for Verstappen or other plans?
When Verstappen lands there, it is typically for a visit with his family, who lives in Belgium. His mother resides just across the border from the southern part of Limburg.
His sister, Victoria Verstappen, had a daughter a year ago. Max's niece celebrated her first birthday only six days ago. He could be over there to spend time with his family or celebrate one of the family's small ones.
. Verstappen's manager, Raymond Vermeulen, is also Dutch. However, the more serious negotiations usually occur in England at Silvertone's headquarters.
When Victoria and Sophie Kumpen were last spotted in
Monaco (around Mother's Day), it was rumoured that they could be meeting the newest addition to the family. Could Verstappen just be using his time off to visit his family, or is there more to the story?
