Often a critic of McLaren driver Lando Norris, Dutch analyst Tom Coronel praised the Briton for his 'world-silencing' Monaco Grand Prix performance.
Speaking on Viaplay's show "Faster Food", Coronel explained why Norris was worthy of the highest possible score for his performance across the Grand Prix weekend in Monte-Carlo, a decision not hard to come by, according to the Dutch pundit.
'It was actually quite easy. Of course, I give winner Lando Norris a ten,' he said, before elaborating further on his decision.
Norris, after battling to find his best Saturday afternoon form, with several qualifying outings not going as well as they should've, with his untimely crash in Q3 in Saudi Arabia being the lowest point of his qualifying sessions this season so far, managed to pip Monaco's home hero, Charles Leclerc to pole position for Sunday's race, which played a role in the score Coronel handed the Briton.
'He took pole position with such a nice, small difference,' he added, before revealing an even more relevant factor that went into his decision.

'But it's not just because of that pole position. He took the win, but also drove the fastest lap on the very last lap of the race.'
The Briton, after his second of the two mandatory pitstops, spent the remainder of the race behind Max Verstappen, who made his pitstop on the final possible tour before the race ended.
'Because of that lap he pumps that self-confidence back [in himself] and he also shut the mouth of the whole world, 'boys, you think I can't handle that. But look, even in Monaco I do it,' concluded Coronel.
Despite his Monaco success, Norris isn't too confident looking into the future as he claims he is still to find 'it', that makes him feel comfortable enough to be consistently quick in the MCL39.
However, his win already brings him back forcefully into the contention for the world title as he now trails teammate Oscar Piastri by a mere three points. Nevertheless, behind them Verstappen lurks at only 25 points.
