Netflix has announced it will broadcast the 2026 Canadian Grand Prix live in the United States on its platform, marking a major milestone for the streaming service. The global streaming giant, which has strengthened its ties with
Formula 1 – particularly through the introduction of the Drive to Survive series – takes things a step further with the announcement of its first live race broadcast.
The announcement of the Canadian Grand Prix broadcast coincides with Apple TV securing the rights to Formula 1 coverage in the USA starting from the 2026 season.

The race at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Quebec will take place on 24 May, the same day as the famed Indianapolis 500.
F1 extends broadcast deal in Latin America
Earlier,
Formula 1 also announced the extension of its partnership with ESPN to cover the sport across 18 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean until the end of the 2028 season.
The sport and broadcaster renewed their partnership at the opening Grand Prix of the 2026 season, taking place in Melbourne from 6–8 March, promising fans all-access coverage, including races, interviews, and analysis.
F1 also announced a broader agreement to cover support series F2 and F3, as well as the all-female F1 Academy and the Porsche Super Cup.
