Normally, ten episodes covering the last year of F1 action are released, but this year, 'DTS" will air only eight - let's take a look at the titles and storylines Netflix are set to explore from a highly dramatic 2025 season.

Episode 1: 'New Kids on the Track': Season 8 kicks off with the F1 75 celebrations held at the O2 Arena in London, with a strong focus on the new rookies - six drivers made their full-time F1 debuts in 2025, including the likes of Kimi Antonelli and Isack Hadjar. Also teased in the Episode 1 synopsis is seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari.

Episode 2: 'Strictly Business': With rookies Liam Lawson and Jack Doohan suffering brutal demotions in early 2025, this episode sees Alpine and Sauber go head-to-head as F1’s young stars fight to prove they belong.

Episode 3: 'The Number 1 Problem': In 2025, it very quickly became apparent that McLaren had quite the job on their hands, as both Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris emerged as title contenders. Episode 3 looks at the “mental war” brewing between the Papaya pair.

Episode 4: 'A Bull with No Horns': No points for guessing who this one’s about. Christian Horner’s shock dismissal at Red Bull in July 2025 rocked the F1 world - the Episode 4 synopsis teases Verstappen and Red Bull’s dramatic victory in Japan, but that car and second-seat problems sees the “walls closing in” for Horner.

Episode 5: 'The Sky’s the Limit': Taking place at the Miami Grand Prix, this episode explores Williams’ lightning start to 2025. However, as Alex Albon soars up the standings, new arrival Carlos Sainz struggles, which leads to questions over whether Williams were right to sign him.

Episode 6: 'The Duel': It’s Mercedes vs Ferrari in Episode 6, with the focus on the team’s fierce battle for P2 in the Constructors’ standings, as well as Antonelli and Hamilton’s start to life at their new teams.

Episode 7: 'What Happens in Vegas': This one teases glitz and glamour, with a new team principal on the pit wall, and McLaren’s shocking disqualification - with Norris and Piastri losing their respective P2 and P4 finishes in a dramatic shake up of the title picture.

Episode 8: 'Call me Chucky': Titled after Verstappen’s joke that Zak Brown should “call me Chucky’ after the McLaren CEO likened the Dutchman’s dramatic title fight back to something out a horror movie, this one is all about the scintillating season finale.

Costly McLaren errors in the second half of the season allowed the four-time world champion to cut his 104-point gap to the lead down to just 12 prior to Abu Dhabi, and while Norris eventually took the title, this one will surely chronicle just how close Verstappen got to a fifth.

Some details from DTS Season 8 have already started to come out, such as George Russell addressing rumours linking Max Verstappen to Mercedes, and even accusing the Verstappen family pushing Horner out of Red Bull.
