Red Bull chief advisor Helmut Marko believes that Mercedes could have solved their issues with engine cooling going into the German Grand Prix.
Back in Austria, Mercedes failed to win for the first time this season due to a cooling issue as Toto Wolff claimed.

Wolff, along with drivers Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas, claimed that the cars were not able to handle the heat on the track to perform as well as they could.

The Mercedes boss also is wary that it might the case at the German Grand Prix with temperatures set to be high again.

Wolff said: "Like Spielberg, Hockenheim is also a relatively short circuit, which will close the gaps between different teams.

“We will stay humble and work hard to achieve the best possible result."

But Marko thinks that the Silver Arrows are keeping quiet about any upgrades/improvements they have made to aid with the cooling of their cars.

Marko told AutoBild: "Only in the heat of the day do they falter.

"That's what we hope for at Hockenheim, but Mercedes is bringing a new chassis with new cooling seats, I've learned.

“They want to do their utmost to win at home”.
