Verstappen opens up about Red Bull: 'A second family'

Despite having struggling and having their issues, Red Bull Racing still feels like a second family to Max Verstappen. Because of this the Dutch driver was able to talk about how he feels with the team and why he can be his best self with them.

In an interview with Red Bull sponsor ByBit, Verstappen said, "I've been part of Red Bull basically from the start, and it's a place where I really built up a big relationship with everyone. Of course you go through the bad times and the good times, luckily more good times than bad times, of course, but it's almost like a second family, and that makes it really enjoyable to work together."

He continued: "I think what really worked for me was just that I was able to be myself. I could just really feel at home. And I think when you feel you're very comfortable in a team environment, you can also really get the best out of yourself".

The 2024 season may be over for Verstappen and his colleagues, but that doesn't mean he is taking a break. Verstappen still has a busy schedule, as he had end-of-year interviews and sim racing appearances for his sponsor, Heineken 0.0.
