A filmmaker with a soft spot for Ronnie Peterson, Gilles Villeneuve, Mika Hakkinen and above all, Tazio Nuvolari and Ayrton Senna, is also a diehard Formula One fan since the age of 4 (mid-90's). An avid researcher of the past of Grand Prix Racing since before it was even named F1, and with a thirst for knowledge of the ins and outs of the actuality of the sport, as well as for the technical aspects that define it, is a member of GPblog since 2023, where he has put his love of racing to good use.
Following the intense situation between Max Verstappen and George Russell yesterday, the Dutchman can provide good news for now, or at least until FP1 later on. Verstappen and his girlfriend, Kelly Piquet, have announced that they are having a baby together.
"A mini Verstappen-Piquet on the way"
Verstappen and Piquet revealed in a message that the Brazilian model is pregnant. With the message, the Dutchman wrote: "Mini Verstappen-Piquet is on the way. We couldn't be happier with our little miracle".
The pair have been together since 2020 and currently live in Monaco with Kelly's daughter from an earlier marriage the Brazilian had with former F1 driver, Daniil Kvyat, Penelope. Prior to the start of the racing activities at the Yas Marina Circuit for the last round of the 2024 season, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the happy couple have shared the news that their family will be welcoming another member.
Kelly has hinted at the arrival of a baby several times recently. For example, she wrote a few times that 2025 would be a very nice year. In the end, these hints turned out to refer to the news that a baby is on the way.
