Marko would sign Ocon if he is "free of all contracts"

Helmut Marko has confirmed his interest in Mercedes junior driver Esteban Ocon. He told Sky Sports F1 that he would discuss something if he was free from a Mercedes contract. Over recent weeks Pascal Wehrlein has left Mercedes to seek opportunities elsewhere. Currently, it looks like Ocon will miss out on a seat in F1 next season, but Marko opens up the chance of him replacing Brendon Hartley at Toro Rosso.

Interesting comments from Marko on Sky just now. Says he's confident a much more mature Kvyat is over his mental challenges from before. Would be open to signing Ocon if he's free of all contracts. And what must Hartley do to keep his seat? "Beat Gasly" #F1 #RussianGP

Surely this just gives Ocon an extra headache? He's in an awkward positon but will Mercedes be happy to let him go, will he be happy to leave Mercedes? He's got a lot to think about!
