Max Verstappen will not start from the front row of the grid for tomorrow's sprint race at Monza, but the Dutchman can still be happy with a third place. Teammate Sergio Perez came no further than ninth place.
Verstappen clearly got everything out of the Red Bull car. Helmut Marko is happy, he tells Sky Germany. "We got the best out of it. Great teamwork, thanks to Perez, who gave the slipstream!"
Indeed, it was thanks to the Mexican that Verstappen was able to take third place. Without the slipstream it might not have worked out, as the two McLaren drivers looked fast, says Marko too.

Red Bull can be satisfied

"We are satisfied, we feared that even McLaren would be ahead of us here!", said Marko. Tomorrow we will see if Perez can make up a few places during the sprint race and if Verstappen can get past the Mercedes drivers.
