Max Verstappen was left frustrated with Red Bull's strategy during the United States Grand Prix after finding himself stuck behind teammate Isack Hadjar, who was yet to make his pit stop. The Dutchman made his feelings clear over team radio despite the Frenchman eventually moving aside.
Verstappen caught Hadjar during its second stint, with the French driver running on a different strategy and still needing to pit. Red Bull instructed Hadjar to let his teammate through, but he initially refused, arguing that moving aside would cost him valuable time.
A few corners later, Hadjar eventually complied and allowed Verstappen to pass. However, the delay prompted a sarcastic response from the four-time world champion, who criticised the team's handling of the situation over the radio.
"Thank you guys, really good strategy there, stuck in dirty air... ****," Verstappen said.
