Paddy Lowe has enjoyed a successful career with McLaren and Mercedes but nowadays works at a much smaller team in Williams.
Lowe admits that the bottom of the Formula One grid is new territory for him.
The 56-year-old started his F1 career with Williams in 1987.
Lowe was part of the team for the next seven years that won five world titles.
A move to McLaren in 1993, which saw Lowe pick up three world titles.

Mercedes hired Lowe in 2014 to replace Ross Brawn, but three years later, Lowe went back to where he originally started in F1 - Wiliiams.
"I've been fortunate in my career not to work in a team that wasn't or within reach of the front, performance wise," Lowe told GrandPrix247.
"That's where we were always playing.
"In the top ten, towards the front end of the top ten or at the very front.
"So it's a new experience for me which has a lot of work to do to get back to where we want to be.

"So that creates some new challenges for me personally. I'm learning all the time."
Williams' FW41 has been massively disappointing and has led the team in a downward spiral and to their lowest level in memory.
"Some things you get right. Some things, if I looked back, I could do differently," Lowe explained.
"But that's the nature of life, you face challenges and you learn from them.
"And, you hope that builds your experience to do a better job next time."
