LIVEBLOG: Canadian Grand Prix - Race

Here we are for the seventh race of the season, the Canadian Grand Prix at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve! We've got an interesting grid, with Sebastian Vettel on pole, alongside Lewis Hamilton.

It's Vettel's first pole since Germany 2019 and he will be hoping for a good start and a win to get his faint title hopes back on track. Lewis Hamilton starts just ahead of Charles Leclerc, with Daniel Ricciardo fourth for Renault in an excellent qualifying session.

It was a nightmare session for Valtteri Bottas, who starts sixth, and Max Verstappen, who goes from ninth. Carlos Sainz is back in 11th after a penalty for blocking Alex Albon and Kevin Magnussen will start from the pitlane following his huge accident in Q2.

Last season, Vettel converted pole into win. Will he be able to do that again, or will someone else take a win in Montreal?
