Formula 1 is back and it returns to Asia with the Singapore Grand Prix. Charles Leclerc will be aiming for three wins on the bounce but he faces tough competition from Mercedes and Red Bull.

What happened last time?

Last time out in Italy Charles Leclerc became the first Ferrari driver to win at Monza since Fernando Alonso won in the 2010 season. He held off constant pressure from Lewis Hamilton and a late surge from Valtteri Bottas to come over the line for a second successive victory. Meanwhile his teammate Sebastian Vettel finished outside the points, helping the Monegasque move above the German in the Drivers' Championship.
Renault won the midfield battle as they recorded their best finish since returning to the sport with P4 and P5.
Since the race, Robert Kubica and Nico Hulkenberg have had their futures all but sorted, both set to miss out in 2020 as Haas confirmed their lineup would not change and Williams announced Kubica would leave at the end of the season.
