Asked whether Ferrari can turn the page next year and start fresh with a clean slate for everyone, the Monegasque told GPblog: “I really hope so. If I'm completely honest, I don't know. Because there's been so much change from this year to next year. Obviously, the target is to have everything right, but there are so many small things that can make a big difference in terms of competitiveness that we'll have to get all these things right.
Leclerc admitted that Ferrari sacrificed the final part of the 2025 season to be better prepared for the next year, where the Maranello team is expected to redeem a disappointing campaign.
“At the moment, that's where all our focus is. I feel like this year we've sacrificed the end of the season to be focused fully on next year, so there's all the elements that tell me that we are working in the right direction and properly.

“However, everybody probably has that feeling, and only time will tell next year. I don't really think about how it will pan out. I more think about the process and what we can do in order to be as ready as possible.”

Hamilton keeps things real on 2026 expectations

Among the two Ferrari drivers, the seven-time world champion has had by far the most difficult season in terms of results and feeling with the car.
