Charles Leclerc continues to push Ferrari to make further changes to the car so the team can fight for victories in Formula 1 this year.
Leclerc had a positive weekend at the Singapore Grand Prix. The Monegasque driver finished third during the Sprint, and then crossed the line second to only Max Verstappen during Sunday's race.
Despite this positive result, Leclerc believes Ferrari has lost a bit of pace compared to the front over the last couple of weekends.
He began: "Yeah, I still feel that way. However, it's true that we brought some small new parts to the car, which maybe helped us to do another step forward, but it's not enough.
"We'll push until the end and we've still got to bring some new things to the car to be at the level. But I think today we had a good pace overall," the Ferrari driver explained.

Leclerc is on the same page as Hamilton
Speaking to Sky Sports F1 ahead of the Singapore weekend, seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton was positive about Ferrari, but highlighted where the team needs to improve as well.
The Briton said: "I think fundamentally we've got a great car, and that's down to an amazing group of people back at the factory, who are really intelligent and have made the right decisions.
"As I've said before, we have been innovators this year. We've had things on the car that everyone else has often followed.
"It's just that we know we're down on power, and that's something that we just live with. We have to catch up for next year. We live with that deficit for the rest of this year.

"But still, the car is improving, and I think we've got races coming up ahead that hopefully we'll still be able to get maybe a little bit closer," he added," he concluded.

Leclerc accused of ‘bottling it’ in Singapore GP battle with Verstappen
Speaking in commentary for F1 TV, Coulthard criticized Leclerc for lacking the bravery to commit to a move on Verstappen.

The former F1 driver explained: "Both Jolyon (Palmer) and I are looking at each other thinking, ‘How did Verstappen hold that? Leclerc is probably thinking the same, he did all the hard work off the line but somehow bottled it."
