Charles Leclerc had a difficult weekend at Silverstone. After the Monegasque driver could step on the podium a couple of occasions, he had a frustrating weekend in the UK. The
Ferrari driver eventually finished in P14, while his teammate, Lewis Hamilton, just missed out on a podium finish at the rainy Silverstone Circuit.
Already by Saturday there was a visibly frustrated Leclerc, as after making a mistake in Q3, he began punching his steering wheel.
"I've had my moments on the radio," he began to GPblog among others.
"Yeah, probably from outside [it’s very funny], but yes, at least for me, of course, frustration runs high, especially when you're passionate and you want to do well. Yes, sometimes you regret things that you say on the radio, but that's the way it is with the heat of the moment that happens. It's like that," he explained.

Ferrari's issues are the Saturdays
According to the Monegasque driver, this season Ferrari could perform better on Sundays, therefore it's extra disappointing to have a result like that.
"It's a little bit of a shame because until now I kept saying that we were maximising the package that we had, but clearly today I did not maximise the package that I had, at least on a Sunday."
"Very often on a Saturday, I think we felt like we left something on the table. Very often coming into Sunday, we always put everything together. Since the beginning of the season, I don't have much more to say. But today, clearly, I left points on the table. That's not nice."
Ferrari did some testing over the current week. Looking ahead to Spa and the
Belgian Grand Prix, Leclerc added:
"I know that everybody's pushing very hard production-wise to try and give us upgrades as soon as possible if they are here. I hope it can help us to do a significant step forward."
