Like his teammate
Carlos Sainz,
Charles Leclerc also thinks
Ferrari' s disappointing performance in Mexico was a one-off. He is therefore hoping for a competitive weekend in Brazil.
Leclerc does not yet dare say much about his expectations for the
Brazilian Grand Prix, but assumes
Ferrari can compete at the front again.
"I don't know if it will rain, it's a sprint weekend as well. It should be exciting. I feel like we will be back in line with the performance we had before Mexico, that was really difficult for us," he said at
Sky Sports.
The Ferrari driver expects his team to perform "as normal" again at
Interlagos after a difficult weekend in Mexico. He thinks Ferrari will be strong again in qualifying, but thinks
Red Bull Racing will make a move as usual on Sunday. He also takes into account Mercedes, which has shown competitive pace in the last few races.
