Lando Norris achieved his first Monaco Grand Prix podium. The British driver had to defend an attacking Sergio Perez in the final 15 laps of the race, but the McLaren driver didn't let the Mexican past.

Speechless

"I don't know what to say. I didn't think I'd be here today. It's down to the team. It's always a dream to be on the podium here," Norris told David Coulthard after the race.
"It's extra special. A bit of luck and some good driving, we've had a strong car all weekend so one for all the boys and girls. It is extra special. I'll cherish it."
Norris secures his third podium of his F1 career, his second of the 2021 season. He is in third place in the championship after Valtteri Bottas suffered a DNF in Monaco. Norris was joined by race winner Max Verstappen and former teammate Carlos Sainz on the podium.
