Lance Stroll’s salary revealed: how many millions Aston Martin pays

AMR GP Limited, the company behind Aston Martin’s Formula 1 team, paid £9.609 million (around €11 million) in 2025 to Golden Eagle Racing Limited, which is Lance Stroll's company. In 2024, that fee was £9.589 million, meaning it rose by only £20,000.

AMR GP must disclose related-party transactions in its financial statements. As a result, the annual report provides insight into the amount Aston Martin pays for Stroll’s services.

For Stroll's teammate, Fernando Alonso, the annual report offers no such insight. The Spaniard’s salary is not listed separately in AMR GP Limited’s financial statements, so a direct comparison between the amounts Aston Martin pays both drivers cannot be made.

The multi-million-pound figure for Stroll comes in a year when Aston Martin as an organization grew significantly once again. The average number of employees rose from 845 to 996, while total personnel costs increased from £69.8 million to £134.1 million. At the same time, the Formula 1 project remained loss-making. Despite revenue of £344.2 million, AMR GP Limited closed 2025 with a loss of £41.1 million for the financial year.
