Aston Martin experienced a difficult early phase of the season. During the Spanish Grand Prix, the team suddenly came up with a car that expectedly looked a lot like the one Red Bull Racing is racing this season. The Austrian racing team complained to the FIA, but Mike Krack does not expect his team to be taken to task.
The team boss is of the opinion that Aston Martin simply adhered to the regulations and therefore feels it is unfair that other teams accuse the formation of copycat behaviour. He tells this in an extensive interview with the news agency Reuters.
"I do not expect anything more, to be honest," Krack begins the conversation. "I think their investigations will not lead to anything and I think they will have the championship battle to concentrate on. We are not really concerned because we haven’t done anything wrong."

Aston Martin remains searching in 2022

However, Aston Martin did not gain many points after the latest developments. Sebastian Vettel's tenth place in Monaco was good for a point, while Lance Stroll finished outside the points. Both drivers collectively failed to finish in the top ten in Spain.
