The Monaco Grand Prix is over. Lando Norris managed to win the iconic 72nd edition of the iconic race through the streets of Monte Carlo. However, fans are not impressed by the race. Some even advocate for an exit of the Monaco race from the calendar.

On the internet, there's a lot of talk about a 'boring race'. The FIA tried their best to bring excitement to Monte-Carlo with two mandatory pit stops, but this seems to have been unable to create the expected impact.

This race is a crime against humanity! Either the track needs serious improvements or it should be removed entirely it shouldn’t be possible to do what Lawson was doing. It’s simply not in the spirit of the sport

I like Monaco in F1 as its iconic.. But that was hands down the worst race I think I’ve watched

What a terrible race. FIA made 2 stops mandatory and it still felt like a Sunday parade. Teams just backed their guy, no racing, no drama just traffic management. Monaco looks pretty, but the race? Painfully boring. Either redesign the track… or drop it. What do you guys

Mixed Reactions to Norris's Victory

About the winner of the race, Lando Norris, there were also mixed feelings. The Brit started from pole position and thus was also able to finish the race in first place.

Fans not positive about Verstappen's race after Monaco GP

The reactions to Max Verstappen's race are also mixed. The Dutchman had to start fourth and that was ultimately also his finishing position. Not all fans are satisfied with that result.

Verstappen did well under the circumstances, but he didn’t give himself a real shot by qualifying poorly. Starting from pole is a must to have a chance of winning in Monaco due to the horrendous track. Yuki is the real proof that the Racing Bulls car might actually be better.
